Theo Khachaturian

Theo is a trial & appellate lawyer whose practice has emphasized wage-and-hour class actions, business disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and intellectual property theft. He has tried civil cases and argued before various California Courts of Appeal.

Theo recently obtained a 3.3-million-dollar verdict for his clients after a three-week jury trial with his colleague, Greg Wolflick.

Theo has focused his career on trial advocacy. In 2010, Theo was selected for specialized trial advocacy training with the L.A. County Bar’s acclaimed Trial Advocacy Project, after which he personally tried several cases to juries as a special City Attorney for the cities of Burbank and Inglewood. From 2006 to 2011, Theo practiced at two downtown L.A. law firms, where he handled both trial and appellate matters, successfully representing individuals and businesses in a variety of employment, wage/hour and complex litigation matters.

Theo earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2001, competed on the Varsity Rowing Team and received both Dean’s list and scholar-athlete awards. He was given a scholarship to enroll in the University of San Diego School of Law and he received his J.D. in 2005.

Away from the office, Theo remains passionate about community service and humanitarian work. He is active in his local PTA and Scouts, and he is a Founder and Director of Friends of UC Irvine Rowing (ucirowing.org), a non-profit organization that fosters amateur rowing competition.

In 1999, he interned in Washington D.C. both for his Congressman and at the Armenian Assembly of America, a worldwide non-profit organization. In 2009, Theo joined the steering committee of the AGBU Young Professionals (a humanitarian organization focused on encouraging community involvement in various environmental and social-welfare causes in L.A. County), and in 2011, Theo devoted substantial pro bono hours to helping victims of domestic violence in L.A. County’s Domestic Violence Project. He maintains active memberships in the L.A. County Bar Association (Labor & Employment Section) and the American Bar Association.

Theo enjoys Dodgers baseball, punk rock, vegan cuisine, sustainable transportation, and is obsessive about technology. He lives in Pasadena with his wife and three children.

Theo is a partner of WRLG, and also practices with the law firm of Wolflick, Simpson, Khachaturian & Bouayad, APC.
